Remote air conditioning operation

Carbon monoxide poisoning

Warning

Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, which is a colourless, odorless, and harmful gas. Inhaling this gas can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning, which carries the risk of serious health issues or, in the worst cases, death. Therefore, please pay attention to the following points.

  • Please check to make sure there are no people or pets inside the vehicle.
  • Please ensure that the vehicle is in an environment where the functions can be operated safely. Examples of dangerous places: enclosed areas (such as inside a garage), poorly ventilated places (such as multi-story parking garages).
  • Please ensure that the vents and exhaust pipe are not blocked before use.
FirePlease use this function only if you have confirmed that there are no flammable objects (such as oil or dry leaves) near the vehicle to prevent fires. Also, please do not cover the vehicle with a body cover when using this function. There is a risk of fire due to high-temperature exhaust pipes or exhaust gases.
Laws and ordinancesPlease do not use this function on public roads. There may be cases where it violates the Road Traffic Act.
Depending on your area of residence, idling may be prohibited or restricted by local ordinances, so please check before using the function.
Children or pets locked inside a carDo not use this function when people or pets are inside the vehicle. There is a risk that this may lead to a serious accident. There is a risk of unexpected accidents due to the operation of the switches, and after the automatic shutdown of the system, the interior of the vehicle can become dangerously hot or cold.
Accident during maintenanceDo not use this function while your vehicle is in a dealership or gas station for inspection or maintenance. If a vehicle starts during inspection or maintenance work, there is the risk of a serious accident.
Unexpected accidents

To prevent unexpected accidents when starting the vehicle, please check the following when parking.

  • The windshield wiper switch is in the off position.
  • All windows are closed and doors are locked.
  • The gear shift is in the “park” position, and the vehicle is secured from movement by the parking brake or wheel chocks.
Environmental considerationPlease use this function only as necessary and be considerate of your surroundings and the environment.
Operating conditions 
 

Functions may not operate properly under the following conditions.

  • When the vehicle's interior temperature is very high.
  • When the SUZUKI CONNECT Data Communication Module (DCM) is in an environment or state where the network connection is poor.
  • When the battery voltage is low.
  • When the door, hood, or back door is open.
  • When the remote key (portable remote) is inside the car.
  • When the vehicle is in either in motion or being started.
  • When the brake pedal is being depressed.
  • When the select lever is not in “Park.”
  • When there is a problem with the air conditioner.
  • When the engine switch is pressed.
  • When the vehicle stalled.
OtherIt cannot be used in conjunction with the wireless engine starter installed as an accessory by the sales company.

Remote control (excluding remote air conditioning operation)

Door lock

Do not use if there are people or pets inside the vehicle. There is a risk of being trapped in the vehicle and unable to escape. The security alarm is not set when the door is locked via remote control. To set the security alarm, please lock the door using keyless entry or the request switch (However, the security alarm may not be available in certain countries.).

Functions may not function properly under the following conditions.

  • When the vehicle's interior temperature is very high.
  • When the SUZUKI CONNECT Data Communication Module (DCM) is in an environment or state where the network connection is poor.
  • When the battery voltage is low.

Notification regarding paid services

After the free trial period ends, charges will apply.
