This section explains how to specify settings when launching the app for the first time.
If you start the service from the SUZUKI CONNECT Registration sheet, you will need to start the vehicle at the end of the process.

Tap the SUZUKI CONNECT App that is installed on your smartphone.

Please select the language you will use in the SUZUKI CONNECT App.

Check the contents of the tutorial and tap [>] to proceed to the next screen.
By tapping [Skip], you can bypass the intermediate screen and display the screen for Step ❹.

Tap [Start Now].

Enter your user ID (email address) and password that you created during membership registration, and then tap [Login].
If you are using a smartphone with Android 12 or earlier, please proceed to Step ❽.

Tap [Next]. (iOS and Android 13 or later only)

Tap [Allow]. (iOS and Android 13 or later only)
If you do not want notifications, please tap [Don’t Allow].
If you want to enable notifications at a later time, please do so from the settings app on your smartphone. Please refer to the user manual or support site for your smartphone for instructions on how to configure smartphone settings.

Tap [Set Remote PIN].
Please register your Remote PIN (a 4-digit number) in advance, as input of the PIN is required when performing remote operations.
If you do not want to register the Remote PIN, tap [Set later] and proceed to Step ⓫.
If you wish to register the Remote PIN later, please do so from the Settings screen in the SUZUKI CONNECT App.
For Primary User: Authentication Settings
For Secondary Users: Authentication Settings -
Please enter a 4-digit number.

For verification, please enter the 4-digit number you entered in Step ❾ again.
If you are using a smartphone without biometric authentication features, this completes the procedures. You can now use the app.

Tap [Use Biometrics]. (Only for smartphones equipped with biometric authentication features)
If you do not want to use biometrics, please tap [Set later]. This completes procedures. You can now use the app.
If you want to enable biometrics at a later time, please do so from the settings app on your smartphone. Please refer to the user manual or support site for your smartphone for instructions on how to configure smartphone settings.

Tap [Next].

Tap [OK].
If the Init. Setup in Progress screen is displayed, please check “The Init. Setup in Progress screen is displayed.”
The Home screen of the SUZUKI CONNECT App is displayed.
This completes settings when launching the app for the first time. You can now use the app.
The Init. Setup in Progress screen is displayed
If the vehicle’s communication settings have not been completed, a screen like the following is displayed after the screen for allowing biometrics.
Please follow the on-screen instructions to perform operations.
Init. Setup in Progress screen (Case 1)
This will be displayed when the vehicle’s communication settings are being configured. Please wait a moment.
Init. Setup is incomplete screen
After the Init. Setup in Progress screen, the Init. Setup is incomplete screen may be displayed.
In that case, please take the following actions.
- If less than an hour has passed since the contract was completed on the Membership Webpage:
Please try the following.
(1) Move the vehicle to a location with a good outdoor network connection.
(2) Turn off the vehicle, wait for at least 5 seconds, and then restart the vehicle.
(3) Close the SUZUKI CONNECT App, and then open the app again. - If more than an hour has passed since the contract was completed on the Membership Webpage:
Tap [Call My Dealer] and contact the registered Service Dealer.
Init. Setup in Progress screen (Case 2)
Turn off the vehicle, wait for at least 5 seconds, and then restart the vehicle.
Check the box for “Vehicle start-up” and then tap [Next].
If the following screen is displayed, please wait for about 2 minutes.
If the vehicle’s communication settings have been completed, the Home screen of the SUZUKI CONNECT App will be displayed.
