To ensure the safe use of the SUZUKI CONNECT App, we periodically verify that it is being used by the Primary User or a Secondary User.
You need to start your vehicle for verification. Please enter your vehicle and perform the following steps.
Please check and operate your smartphone screen only after stopping the vehicle in a safe place.
- Driver authentication has an expiration period (180 days). Once authentication expires, the following functions will no longer be available (some functions may not be present depending on the vehicle model).
- Remote operation (air conditioner control, door lock, hazard lights off)
- Parked Car Locator (display vehicle location on map, share vehicle location, hazard lights flashing)
*The following functions will no longer be available starting on day 175. - Driving history (display of driving details)
- Checking the total mileage
- You can perform the driver authentication starting five days before the expiration date.
- When the expiration date is five days away, a notification regarding the driver authentication update will be sent to your smartphone via email and Push notification.
- Driver authentication can be performed by either the Primary User or the Secondary User.
- Driver authentication is not required for some vehicle models.
- Tap [
] on the Home screen.
Tap [Settings].
Tap [Driver Authentication].
The Driver Authentication screen is displayed.
Tap [Start Driver Authentication].
The odometer input screen is displayed.
Start the vehicle and enter the odometer reading.
Once you have finished entering information, tap [Validate].
Stop the vehicle within a few seconds.
Driver authentication is now complete.
